Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. ~Revelation 2:4
🦋 2026 In Butterfly by Grace “Mommy and Daughter blog” a year for a radical change.
A butterfly does not transform by effort, but by surrender. Hidden in the cocoon, unseen and pressed, it emerges changed — not by strength, but by grace.
As we step into 2026, I hear a gentle but urgent call from God: “Return to your first love.” (Revelation 2:4) Somewhere along the journey, many of us grew tired. Disappointed. Distracted. Wounded. Church became optional. Worship became quiet. Prayer became rushed. Not because we stopped loving God — but because life pressed us hard. Yet grace never left. Returning Is Not Shame — It Is Love God is not asking us to return out of guilt. He is inviting us back out of love. Just like the butterfly, transformation happens in the hidden place — when we show up again, even when we feel weak. When we sit in church again, even when our hearts feel heavy. When we choose consistency over comfort. Do not stop going to church. The enemy knows the power of isolation. But God designed the church as a place of healing, growth, and covering.
You don’t go to church because you are perfect —
you go because you are becoming a better version of yourself. Grace Is the Process Grace is not just forgiveness grace is what carries us when faith feels fragile. If you have fallen away, come back. If you feel dry, stay planted. If you are discouraged, do not disappear. Butterflies don’t fly the day the cocoon breaks; they wait until strength comes. It is time to stop playing; 2026 Declaration 2026 is not the year I drift — it is the year I return. Return to prayer Return to worship. Return to community. Return to the God who never stopped waiting. By grace, I am becoming. By grace, I will remain. By grace, I will not abandon the place where God grows me. In🦋 Butterfly by Grace 🦋 2026: The Year of Returning to My First Love. We need a 911 of Jesus to be able to stand strong for what is going to happen. Pray with us!
Closing Prayer
Lord, We return to You — not out of obligation, but out of love. Restore our nation, restore our family Lord help us. Restore in us the joy of our first love, the hunger for Your presence, and the desire to remain planted in Your house. Heal every wound that caused us to drift, soften every heart that has grown weary, and remind us that Your grace is still enough. Teach us to stay, to trust, and to grow, even when the process feels hidden. By Your grace, transform us and help us never stop returning to You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
