“Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, ‘says the Lord” Romans 12:19
We live in a broken world and cannot be fixed until Jesus Christ returns. A world that does not know good from evil and good from bad. The truth is just the beginning. “All this is but the beginning of birth pain” Matthew 24:8. Christian who are content to turn a blind eye to the injustices suffered by others are missing the point of what it means to walk as Jesus did. We cannot fix the broken system. We can not stop the injustice. But, what we can do: Is return to the altar, We can return to the message of the cross, We can return to our first love, We can repent, We can have true teaching, We can get rid of spirit of Jezebel in the church, We can wake up, We can hold fast what we have so that no one take away your crown, We can not be lukewarm, he will vomit us, we can have unity in the spirit, we can pray, forgive and have a true repentance.
When we pray things shift. The prophet Amos said: “When a society has shrugged off God's law he who is prudent will keep silent in such a time, for it is an evil time” Amos 5:13. What do you do when injustice seems to prevail? Do you think that if you repay evil for evil you will feel better? The answer is No. After observing what unfolded with Charlie Kirk, I recognized that while we are not in the public eye, the challenges and injustices we endure hold meaning and deserve attention. Our struggles against injustices matters. I will not remain silent in the face of wrongdoing! Losing jobs, friends, and family has been worth it- and again, I will not remain silent and I am committed to standing for what is right, no matter the cost. What happened on September 10, 2025 was a profound injustice. When we are treated with injustice, It is right to ask God to please avenge that injustice. Prayer is crucial to survive!
First, this is a big burden. “Forgive them because they do not know what they are doing”. Luke 23:34
The good news is that Jesus can and will restore your heart. “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you”. Ezekiel 36”26. Unconfessed sin and unforgiveness can hinder prayers.
I confess that I have been deeply wounded. Some of us have been hurt by those in authority, Others have been abused, molested, or sexually assaulted. Perhaps, others have a soul wound from childhood that never fully healed. This is my story. My testimony.
Forgiveness is key for healing. When unforgiveness takes root, it produces resentment. Unforgiveness destroys us. Unforgiveness quickly entangles and impressions us in a cage of bitterness. We become trapped and haunted. Unforgiveness can negatively impact your health. I ignored many phone calls and blocked many. I ended up isolated in a cave. I was getting myself in a dangerous place. I did not want anything to do with the minister. I became disobedient. I complained to God and blamed everyone. I thought it was the end. But this is not how this story ends. I am still writing. He is the author.
As a Nurse one day in my bitterness my patient who was healing from bone cancer (Osteosarcoma) was in pain. She had this huge wound that needed to be cleaned, irrigated and changed her dressing. One day, she said to me: “It doesn't matter if you change the bandage”. “She said: “Everyone changes the bandage but no one really gets to the roots”. “If the wound is deep, it needs healing”. I had tears in my eyes. I was trying to hide under the masks. She says: “This is exactly what happens to many people”. “You can not take care of the superficial, It will spread and cause infection”. “You have to get to the root and kill it once and for all”. I was very emotional for a long time. I was sensitive. My emotions took the best of me. I walked away and cried. Later that day; I asked her what do you mean? She did not remember anything. I hid in a cave, I didn't want to be seen. I did not want anything to do with social media. Unfortunately, I still had to get up and work. My days off were in the cave. I was really feeling alone and abandoned. I knew it was time to fight! Seeing my family and seeing the results of my bitterness only opened doors to the enemy. My place was not in the cave. I was exhausted from even breathing. I was not sleeping nor eating. I had bags under my eyes. No one was able to understand me. No one knew the pain and agony I felt. As a leader; I failed God, I struggled with so much injustice everywhere I looked. People I trusted betrayed my trust. I battle with lies, jealousy, rejection as a child, and rejection as a leader. I lament and step down as a Pastor. I knew I was sick from my heart. I did not want anything to do with ministry. I was feeling like a child on time out, feeling unworthy, weak, hopeless and abandoned by God. I was wounded; I needed an emergency heart transplant. Many saw my spiritual death. But, God saw purpose. I was invited to an event. My daughter was excited about the prophetic activation. She knew her mother needed God. I just wanted to sit in the last chair and did not want to be bothered. I did not want to be known. I was embarrassed. I did not want to be seen or recognized. As they call for prayer. I did not move. I was desperate for a breakthrough. At that moment few women went up for prayer. The preacher says: “I know when the Holy Spirit speaks to me, and is not you nor you or you, Three women standing in the front of the altar for prayer as he called three particular women who were rape as a child on his right side. He called one woman on his left who was molested as a child. He continued: “I will let you know that is me talking to you”. He said: “Do not be ashamed”. “This is not your fault”. “You need to be free”. “I was ashamed, I felt so dirty. At that moment as you know; “There was a fire like never before; he asked for me to put my hand on my heart; there was a fire; As he renounced, he began to pray and every woman lifted up their hands. He began to start liberation; As every woman repeated: “I resign and disengage, I forgive, and on and on… “ I did not move from my chair. “I saw the nine year old girl who was hurt” The pastor said: Repeat, now and you will be free. He continues by saying “this is not your fault.” You must forgive all who hurt you. “You have been paralyzed”. “Your minister and your career is paralyzed”. “All doors are closed”. It hurts, but you have to obey. “Obedience unlocks many promises.” Get out the cave! That is not your place. At that instance my eyes were open. I confessed my child abuse, rejection, I confess my unforgiveness from leaders and family”. I began to fight back and close all doors. At that instance, I began to hear different people talking in different languages. I was able to hear God’s voice again. I asked. How many languages are in this church? Why are they talking in other languages? She looked at me and said: What language? It is only Spanish. Again, I was listening to different languages. I was going crazy. I was not only listening to other languages; I was understanding every tongue and every language. My eyes were open. I was so sick from my stomach, exhausted and feeling like I was about to vomit. I knew then, I was free. From this point, I was free. I was transformed. Something was broken inside of me. I praise God for letting me free. Unforgiveness is too much of a burden for anyone.
I was forgiven and I was restored for the Glory of God. I pray for all who hurt me, the most difficult was to forgive my family. God gave me a new heart. I can now look back and see what the enemy intended for evil, God used it for his glory. I can testify to his glory. My ministry is clean and this is a new transformation of open heart. My prayer life has increased, my reading of the Bible has been intense. The things that God has been revealing are amazing. The faith has been growing everyday.
Lets pray!
Father God, we repent and we call upon you. We need your healing. We need strength. Give us your eyes to see what you see. I can ask you Lord, as you restore me; I call upon the name of Jesus. I declare a new heart, I declare humbleness, I declare freedom, I declare forgiveness, I declare that you open up their eyes so that they may see your power and glory. Jesus we repent and we give you the lock of forgiveness, we today let go every evil person who hurt us, we forgive all leaders who hurt us, we forgive our family, we forgive and let go any accusation, plot against us, we give you our weakness, we forgive our parents, we today let go all fear, anxiety that the enemy have try to steal our joy, I command you with all the authority that God has given me; to leave now. We are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against rulers and authorities of the unseen world against mighty power in this dark world. You are not the author of confusion, but of peace. We claim your promise that if we resist the devil he will flee from us. Jesus we rebuke satans power and rebuke the power of any of all evil influences over our household. We bind Satan's power against us. We thank you for giving us the power to cast out demons in your name Jesus. Jesus we engage in a spirit battle using the whole armor of God. We will put on the full armor of God. We will stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around our waist and take the helmet of salvation in the name of Jesus we forgive and let go. We are free in Jesus' name. Hallelujah Amen
