Joy of your salvation 🛡

“Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.” Psalms 51:12 AMP

Have you lost your joy? Are you feeling languishing in a joyless state from day to day? God may seem far away. Today I want to let you know that God sees you. You are not alone. ”Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of suffering”.

You might be reading this blog and feeling about to give up. Believe me, this is my testimony and story too. I encourage you to read our blog and please raise your voice. Request prayer. Let us know how butterfly by Grace had made an impact in your life. We are here to help you, we want you to know how much God loves you.  Please, raise your voice. It’s okay to feel sad at moments. In life you will have affliction but, take heart Jesus overcome.

We all have been sad, discouraged, and feel forgotten by God, when all we can do is worship as our tears go down our cheeks. Sometimes, even praying can be hard, we feel our prayers are not reaching God. We feel like our prayers are just not being heard. The pain we have causes us to isolate ourselves from everyone. I encourage you to keep praying without ceasing. God's apparent silence is really his way of giving us a much needed heart check, when we are praying with the wrong motives. Sometimes the answer is “No”  or he chooses to answer differently than what we pray. At times the answer is “wait” and at times not “now”. There is a value in that wait. In our period of waiting there are many lessons to learn. God made a way for us through Jesus and God promised to work all things together for good for those who love him. Be patient and persistent in prayer while you are in the waiting room.

When we feel lonely, we are not alone. Whether people in our lives have left or we are struggling with depression or to connect, you can always lean on Jesus, you can go to bed and let God. The good news is that you can always find that joy and peace again. Just believe. God will meet you where you are and help you connect with joy again. Jesus said: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart I have overcome the world”.  Joy, based on a relationship with God, is much more reliable than happiness, which is based only on good circumstances. One of the main reasons we lose our joy is we become discontent and in doing that we forget our God is sovereign and in control of all the circumstances of our lives.

I believe that with every trial there is a teaching lesson. We need to turn to God and not to the gods and idols, who just want to heal a superficial and temporary wound. Many of us walk along time with a bandage to cover a  wound that never really healed.  God wants to restore you and give you eternal life. Yoga practice as originally taught, seeks “outside“ spiritual contact with the universe which of course is replacing seeking God. Readers, you will find that this healing and happiness is only temporary. In this age people are unfortunately constantly gasping for deeper meaning, spirituality, higher purpose, and energy healing. But they are looking in the wrong places and in the wrong things. Those who have not turned to God for truth have no choice but to search for circumstances. “The truth will set you free“ (John 8:31). Jesus came to heal. He said that those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. “I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners, to repentance”. God is the answer.  Those who refuse to acknowledge Jesus will never come to a place of true healing.  My childhood testimony and my family background had led me to serve Jesus. I chose to break the curse and not continue to live in a lie that doesn’t please God. I learned from my childhood that nothing in this world can bring you joy and peace, unless you come to God. The true healing from our wounds can only come from God.

As a child, I saw many hurt, pain, depression and bitterness, but they were all looking for happiness in witchcraft, buddhism, tarot cards ect… Going to mass Sundays, singing songs, going to the youth retreats, were far from healing. Every Sunday mass, my family would go in empty and come out empty and fighting. Growing up I had such conviction that I could not explain. One thing I knew for sure, I was empty. I felt deep inside that something was wrong, but I was just a little girl following traditions, and most importantly I did not had a voice or choice. I remember talking to a nun as a little girl, Something deep inside didn't allow me to trust her. I told her to repent, Yes, I was put in time out. My point, Jesus found me at my lowest. I was lost. I was empty. Growing up I had many dreams, but I didn't know my purpose. I didn't understand my unhappiness. When I was 21 years old I gave my life to Jesus. I was a broken young girl without purpose and direction, until Jesus found me. I had it all, from wealth to a beautiful house, my father had wealth, he had his own company, money was never the problem, yet, I was empty. Money could not buy my joy of salvation. If I had a choice, I would rather grow up in happiness, joy and fear, than wealth, but empty and far from God.

I never practiced witchcraft nor yoga or budismo, I didn't believe that someone randomly can read your future in some tarot cards. Only God knows our future and what the future holds. If you look for God with all your heart, you will find him. Do not intend to look in the wrong things because salvación can only come from God. This was my story. Many people who testified that they were slaves to witchcraft  they really never had happiness, joy or peace as a result, sickness, depression and mental illness. The enemy has been more busy than ever stealing, killing and destroying. This is because he knows he has very little time left.

We all have struggles, disappointments and heartbreaks. Unfortunately, they are not only part of life but unavoidable. It’s crucial we ground our joy in Christ and not people, circumstances, job, health or achievements. All these are temporary, they are not meant for ever. The Bible says: ”that everything will pass away, but my words shall not pass away“. I’d consider myself a positive, optimistic person who enjoyed life after giving my life to Jesus. Although life was never problem free, I still tried to embrace each day with joy and thankfulness. Our problem is that we all often forget God's promises. We put our trust in the wrong people, wrong things and too often we are preoccupied trying to help God. God does not need our help, instead our trust. When you get bad news, it’s easy to slip into a negative mindset. I get it, life is far from easy. We can carefully plan things out, take precautions, save money and try to balance all of our daily responsibilities until life hits us with a curve ball.

If you are not feeling the season as everyone else and you are feeling discouraged, and overwhelmed, take heart Jesus had overcome. Readers, do not let the enemy steal your joy. God can restore the joy of your salvation. My message today to all my readers is: Pick Up Your Sword. Even if the process of refinement is tough, it will be worth it when we endure to the finish line. The helmet of salvation reminds us every day of the confidence that hope will never disappoint us as we battle our way through life. The sword of the spirit, the world of God. We must continue to fight the good fight of faith. You are more than conquered in Jesus name.
