No tengas miedo.

He will cover you with his feathers!

“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart” ~Psalm 91:4

Our God is a consuming fire. He consumes pride, lust, materialism, and other sin.” Leonard Ravenhill

It was a seemingly normal day, and my husband was driving southbound. It was 10 am and the unexpected happened. My husband was involved in an accident by a distracted driver who was texting. His vehicle was totally lost and he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Thankfully, he suffered a few minor injuries. But, he will forever embrace his personal testimony on how he saw wings covering his vehicle and miraculously, the wings stopped the vehicle from the bigger impact. The distracted driver who caused the crash, did not receive any injuries. Tragedies like these have become far too common. “Let all things be done decently and in order”. 1 Corinthians 14:40

Research and statistics indicated that rather than 3,100 deaths per year distracted driving fatalities were likely in excess of 10,000 per year. Accordingly, the % of traffic fatalities caused by distracted driving was likely to be about 29% as opposed to 10% for 2023. It can only take a second, but it can have life-long repercussions. Even at a stoplight, this behavior can be dangerous, as drivers need to maintain total focus in order to drive safely. Please, put your phone down. Fear the Lord with all your heart. Maybe, this has never happened to you or any of your loved ones. I assure you, God is a God of order and there are consequences in our actions. There has been a distracted driving warning. “Do not disturb while driving”. There is a program called: “The new drunk driver”. This program is about taking your eyes off the road for a few seconds. As they do this study the MIT and the university of Connecticut, as they analyze hundredths of drivers in their research. This research is called “3 seconds behind the will '' and this launch through amazon video and public television nationwide. One of the main reasons that research found is “Boredom” in addition to the habit of constantly checking phones. There is a way to have your phone on do not disturb; this feature in every smartphone. By using this feature your phone automatically sends a message: “I'm driving with Do Not Disturb while driving turned on. I'll see your message when I get where I'm going”. There is another notification if it is urgent, reply “urgent” to send a notification through with your original message. Cell Phones were invented to make our lives easier, and they certainly have. But they are also making a lot of lives a lot shorter too. The people who text and drive they are not only putting their life at risk but the people around them. This can be really tragic, until it happens to you or someone you love. Please put your phone down, protect yourself and the lives of others. “For our God is consuming fire”.

We learned to be content with everything in life. The bible says; “In everything be thankful”. It can be a challenge to be thankful when life is not fair. There is this pressure to be thankful. It's easier said than done! Despite the joyful season, the holidays can be an emotionally hard time of the year for many. Let's be kind to those who are hurting. The bible says: “Give thanks in Everything” and even when my husband lost his vehicle; we are thankful for God's protection. I assure you, we can be thankful even in difficult times because we know God is in control and working all things for our good.  I thank God for his promises, and taking care of us when we can anymore. Taste and see the goodness of God. He who has never lost a battle is fighting for you. Do not be afraid. The phrase “do not be afraid” is listed 365 times in the bible. A reminder for everyday. Jesus said to his disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, not about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Jesus reminds us that he will take care of us. But, Jesus says: first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. My husband lost his vehicle, yet we can worry about how he is going to make it to work; we find that this is not important. Instead, we are celebrating life through Jesus Christ. Our trust is in the Lord. In the meantime, we will forever worship and be thankful for preserving his life. Being thankful can make a difference. Today, I chose to thank God, even when it might seem difficult; God is and will always be our anchor. “Don't forget God when you get what you prayed for".

Joy of your salvation 🛡

“Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.” Psalms 51:12 AMP

Have you lost your joy? Are you feeling languishing in a joyless state from day to day? God may seem far away. Today I want to let you know that God sees you. You are not alone. ”Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of suffering”.

You might be reading this blog and feeling about to give up. Believe me, this is my testimony and story too. I encourage you to read our blog and please raise your voice. Request prayer. Let us know how butterfly by Grace had made an impact in your life. We are here to help you, we want you to know how much God loves you.  Please, raise your voice. It’s okay to feel sad at moments. In life you will have affliction but, take heart Jesus overcome.

We all have been sad, discouraged, and feel forgotten by God, when all we can do is worship as our tears go down our cheeks. Sometimes, even praying can be hard, we feel our prayers are not reaching God. We feel like our prayers are just not being heard. The pain we have causes us to isolate ourselves from everyone. I encourage you to keep praying without ceasing. God's apparent silence is really his way of giving us a much needed heart check, when we are praying with the wrong motives. Sometimes the answer is “No”  or he chooses to answer differently than what we pray. At times the answer is “wait” and at times not “now”. There is a value in that wait. In our period of waiting there are many lessons to learn. God made a way for us through Jesus and God promised to work all things together for good for those who love him. Be patient and persistent in prayer while you are in the waiting room.

When we feel lonely, we are not alone. Whether people in our lives have left or we are struggling with depression or to connect, you can always lean on Jesus, you can go to bed and let God. The good news is that you can always find that joy and peace again. Just believe. God will meet you where you are and help you connect with joy again. Jesus said: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart I have overcome the world”.  Joy, based on a relationship with God, is much more reliable than happiness, which is based only on good circumstances. One of the main reasons we lose our joy is we become discontent and in doing that we forget our God is sovereign and in control of all the circumstances of our lives.

I believe that with every trial there is a teaching lesson. We need to turn to God and not to the gods and idols, who just want to heal a superficial and temporary wound. Many of us walk along time with a bandage to cover a  wound that never really healed.  God wants to restore you and give you eternal life. Yoga practice as originally taught, seeks “outside“ spiritual contact with the universe which of course is replacing seeking God. Readers, you will find that this healing and happiness is only temporary. In this age people are unfortunately constantly gasping for deeper meaning, spirituality, higher purpose, and energy healing. But they are looking in the wrong places and in the wrong things. Those who have not turned to God for truth have no choice but to search for circumstances. “The truth will set you free“ (John 8:31). Jesus came to heal. He said that those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. “I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners, to repentance”. God is the answer.  Those who refuse to acknowledge Jesus will never come to a place of true healing.  My childhood testimony and my family background had led me to serve Jesus. I chose to break the curse and not continue to live in a lie that doesn’t please God. I learned from my childhood that nothing in this world can bring you joy and peace, unless you come to God. The true healing from our wounds can only come from God.

As a child, I saw many hurt, pain, depression and bitterness, but they were all looking for happiness in witchcraft, buddhism, tarot cards ect… Going to mass Sundays, singing songs, going to the youth retreats, were far from healing. Every Sunday mass, my family would go in empty and come out empty and fighting. Growing up I had such conviction that I could not explain. One thing I knew for sure, I was empty. I felt deep inside that something was wrong, but I was just a little girl following traditions, and most importantly I did not had a voice or choice. I remember talking to a nun as a little girl, Something deep inside didn't allow me to trust her. I told her to repent, Yes, I was put in time out. My point, Jesus found me at my lowest. I was lost. I was empty. Growing up I had many dreams, but I didn't know my purpose. I didn't understand my unhappiness. When I was 21 years old I gave my life to Jesus. I was a broken young girl without purpose and direction, until Jesus found me. I had it all, from wealth to a beautiful house, my father had wealth, he had his own company, money was never the problem, yet, I was empty. Money could not buy my joy of salvation. If I had a choice, I would rather grow up in happiness, joy and fear, than wealth, but empty and far from God.

I never practiced witchcraft nor yoga or budismo, I didn't believe that someone randomly can read your future in some tarot cards. Only God knows our future and what the future holds. If you look for God with all your heart, you will find him. Do not intend to look in the wrong things because salvación can only come from God. This was my story. Many people who testified that they were slaves to witchcraft  they really never had happiness, joy or peace as a result, sickness, depression and mental illness. The enemy has been more busy than ever stealing, killing and destroying. This is because he knows he has very little time left.

We all have struggles, disappointments and heartbreaks. Unfortunately, they are not only part of life but unavoidable. It’s crucial we ground our joy in Christ and not people, circumstances, job, health or achievements. All these are temporary, they are not meant for ever. The Bible says: ”that everything will pass away, but my words shall not pass away“. I’d consider myself a positive, optimistic person who enjoyed life after giving my life to Jesus. Although life was never problem free, I still tried to embrace each day with joy and thankfulness. Our problem is that we all often forget God's promises. We put our trust in the wrong people, wrong things and too often we are preoccupied trying to help God. God does not need our help, instead our trust. When you get bad news, it’s easy to slip into a negative mindset. I get it, life is far from easy. We can carefully plan things out, take precautions, save money and try to balance all of our daily responsibilities until life hits us with a curve ball.

If you are not feeling the season as everyone else and you are feeling discouraged, and overwhelmed, take heart Jesus had overcome. Readers, do not let the enemy steal your joy. God can restore the joy of your salvation. My message today to all my readers is: Pick Up Your Sword. Even if the process of refinement is tough, it will be worth it when we endure to the finish line. The helmet of salvation reminds us every day of the confidence that hope will never disappoint us as we battle our way through life. The sword of the spirit, the world of God. We must continue to fight the good fight of faith. You are more than conquered in Jesus name.

Christmas the season where most people get depressed

🦋
Give yourself time
experience the journey
spread your wings
fly toward your destiny

“Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you restless and disturbed within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my [sad] countenance and my God.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭43‬:‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I was reading an article where according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, about 1 in 5 adults suffer from depression or anxiety. The holiday season, in addition to this being the time of year when there are shorter periods of sunlight, can cause some people to battle depression or anxiety even more. But there are other circumstances that can add to the list of reasons one might have a harder time during the holidays.

Unfortunately, The reasons given include lack of time, financial pressure, gift giving, and family gathering. To make matters worse, the National Alliance on Mental Illness noted that 64% of individuals living with a mental illness felt that their conditions worsened around Christmas and holidays gatherings.

For many, the holidays are the most difficult time of the year to live through. Depression rates rise during holidays. Many are hurting all around the world. Most people like to focus on giving the most expensive gifts even when unable to. Christmas is not about giving nor was Jesus born on Christmas. Christmas is about loving, spending family time and caring. What’s the point of giving the most expensive gift and not loving the whole year? I rather have love the whole year, then one christmas gift out of obligation. I would rather have a shoulder to cry on, a hug, a good listener, someone  who cares, and the love and respect of family and friends; than a Christmas. People spend too much money and time on materialistic things and less on their health and mental stability.  The Bible clearly says “for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law”. Love is not self seeking neither is to dishonor others. Unfortunately, not everyone understands the importance of Love. Many people are hurting all around the world. One day you can just wake up and lose everything. Christmas is not about gifts, but Love. Many are desperately looking for help, hopeless, sick, and or maybe without a job. Let us be mindful, to those who are hurting. Depression is real, and should not be taken for granted. Christmas is to share your food with the hungry, to provide the poor wonders with shelter, to clothe them and not turn away. Let us not Love in word or speach, but in deed and in truth. The Bible is very clear to Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not answer. Do not give out of obligation instead out of Love. Many people give out of generosity, this is a true blessing. Each man should give what he has decided in this heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Christmas is more than gifts and decorations. Instead of just focusing on the gifts and pretty decorations, we need to remember that Christmas is really about having a relationship with God overall. If you are hurting during holidays you are not alone. Learn to recognize your holiday triggers, such as financial pressures or personal demands so that you can combat them before any breakdown. Everyone else seems to be surrounded by love and warmth, while you feel alone and in the dark. Remember Jesus loves you. You are not alone, this was once my story too. We all have days when we feel unmotivated, but if your symptoms cause disruptions in life, it’s time to reach out for help. You can always talk to your pastors, attend a cell group and seek help in your local church or community. Readers I like to encourage you to help someone in your neighborhood, call that person who hurt you and forgive, pray for family who don’t know Jesus. Christmas is about joy and fun not giving what you don’t have. Count your blessings, you’ll be surprised to know how fortunate you are. Keep praying and don’t give up hope. Good is near the broken-hearted and God sees you.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

“For this daughter I prayed “

 ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭1:10‭-‬11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”

Hannah, was a warrior, she never gave up on prayer. We know that Hannah prayed fervently for children before and after.  The God that answers granted not only her request but five more children after the Prophet Samuel. Most remember Hannah for her sorrow, but not for the prayer woman. Hannah pray specifically for a son, but couldn't have children. She never gave up hope that God would hear her prayer.  I was moved by the way the Bible describes Hannah sacrifice to the Lord. What impacted me the most was that she dedicated her baby to the Lord and let him at temple to serve God all the days of his life. (1 Samuel 1:11).

“It’s a girl” baby B It’s a girl the ultrasound technician said. We knew baby A was a boy. My heart rejoice as tears came down my cheeks. I praise God for answering my prayer request. For this daughter I prayed. I dreamed of a little girl to complete our family one who could become my best friend and make this family whole. Her three brothers, were born first, including her twin baby A, ones to call me mother, they are a blessing they lit up my life. With my first son I learned my motherhood how to prepare the best to be a good mother. Having boys are special too. I dream with a baby girl and I felt in my heart something was missing. As I dream to shop for tutus, have a head adorned with crocheted flowers with satin pink bands, shop for pink little dresses and knowing that one day she will have a baby of her own. Having a daughter is a mother’s dream, but it comes with big challenges, therefore, since for this daughter I prayed, I dedicate not only my daughter, but my three sons to God.

Hannah pray fervently for a baby, but her prayer was specifically for a son. According to the Bible, the Lord had closed her womb, and her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. Hannah dedicated Samuel to the Lord, I made a vow to the Lord and dedicated my daughter to the Lord. I love my children and they are all a gift from God. Motherhood was such a beautiful experience that I had really treasure. I encourage you readers, if you have a Princess as I do, pray for protection, safety, well-being, relationship with God, friends and influence, school-life, health, future husband, relationship with their father, siblings relationships and finally wisdom and discernment. The Bible says: “Train your children in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6).

You might not be praying for a daughter nor a baby.  I encourage you, keep praying. God is near the broken-hearted, he rescues those who spirit are crushed. The Bible says: do not receive, because you ask wrongly. I have learn to pray and ask God specifically for the things I want. I pray for a daughter, God answered me.  Don’t give up and keep praying. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.

God is in your Story!

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭48:10‬ ‭AMP‬‬
Indeed, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested and chosen you in the furnace of affliction.

One of our biggest challenges in life is to be tested.  We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Have you ever experience something that you felt was divinely inspired not to take place? Have you ever prayed for God to do something, only to see opposite occur? It can be overwhelming and frustrating. When God doesn’t do what we would like our natural inclination to do, it makes us vulnerable. Did we not pray enough? Did we not study enough? God’s ways are not our ways, and God’s thoughts are beyond our own. You have to trust that God is in your story. I can testify that our prayers are being answered in God's perfect timing. Do not intend to take the pen away from the author of your story. God’s plan for you is to trust him.

Waiting for something to happen is often very difficult for many people to do. As we wait, we get anxious. Many times we give up waiting and try to do things in our way, instead of waiting for Gods promises. Many times we give up waiting because we were disappointed before. Life is about waiting and learning. If our kids would get everything they ask for, would they learned anything in life? Do we give our kids everything they ask for? The answer is no. Can you imagine giving your car to your 10 year old child only because they asked? There is a time in life when we are not ready to receive everything we ask for either because we are immature or maybe we wouldn’t vaporize it. Maybe God is after our hearts. He wants us to be humble. Perhaps, he is changing our hearts as we continue to pray not because we need something but, because we need to change our hearts. Maybe as we pray we need to forgive. When we don't get what we ask in prayer is not God saying no, instead we are not ready. I encourage you readers to trust and wait on the Lord. As I write here a little of my first book, I can testify, that even with all my bruises and scars; God was in my story. I can guarantee you that God has not drop or lost the pen. Believe that your story has a beautiful and powerful testimony for the Glory of God. Do not give up.

“Living with faith and courage is something that life requires of each of us. Never, absolutely, never give up! Never give in no matter what! Fight it through! And I promise you something with all my heart God will help you.

He aprendido y puedo ver cuanto Dios nos ama.
